Sketchbook Paper Ideas

Include a variety of different papers and found objects in your sketchbook. Some ideas for inclusions:

Computer paper

Watercolour paper

Drawing paper

Newsprint

Construction paper

Wrapping paper

Tissue paper

Old maps

Recycled papers

Pages from magazines , catalogues, advertisements and other junk mail

Pages with windows cut out of them (make the windows before or after making the book)

Partial pages (you can bind shorter pieces or cut parts away later)

Smaller pages

Fold out sheets (larger sheets)

Pockets

Mini booklets glued to sketchbook pages

Accordion pages with a pocket built in

Flat pack boxes and other three dimensional forms that can be temporarily created and then unfolded for storage

Include a view finder in one of the pockets of your sketchbook
